About the event
We welcome you to join us for a night of community and leisure here at the Sister Grove Farm Pavilion and Kitchen with an ever changing four course dinner highlighting the benefits of a small, hyperlocal food system model for here in north Texas. At the helm of these dinners are Chefs Marlene Faulkner of Knife and Faulk and Marco Rios of Heritage Butchery and Barbecue with a potential for more as this event grows and gains traction. Guest farmers for this first meal will include 2023 Texas Conservation Farmer Aaron Reeves of Reeves Family Farm and Dawson Mehalko of Jubilant Field Farms. Joining us for conversation will also be Susie Marshall, Executive Director of GROW North Texas, on how we might rebuild the local food system in North Texas together. Wine pairings sourced from Edge of the Lake Vineyard will be offered with each course. Deadline to register for the dinner is September 18. Space is limited to 40 people.
