About the event

This 3-part Summer Dinner Series is carefully crafted around good food, affordability, transformative education, and community building.  

Each meal will be locally sourced and purposely intended to highlight our local food system here in north Texas.

For July 14, Tucker and Elizabeth Nickols of McKinney Roots and the Wells Group will lead us in a meaningful table conversation on "What is Local?"

This is informal and casual so if you want to bring a favorite beverage or any side dishes of your own, feel free. But here are the yummy options already provided for us by Harvest at the Masonic in McKinney:

*Masonic House Salad - blueberry / pickled celery / feta / candied pecans / savory granola / Texas olive co. balsamic drizzle / dijon-thyme balsamic vinaigrette

*Pork Burgandy - Braised Pork / carrots / tomato / mushrooms / fennel / red wine

*Mashed Potatoes

*Fresh Melon and Peaches Crumble - whipped cream , lemon honey syrup, fresh herbs  

Do you enjoy love music? We do too. Our friends at The Gar Hole in Westminster (just 4 miles away from the farm) will provide us with a musician for the evening.  What a great evening this should be.
